2010 Infiniti G37 review

The 2010 Infiniti G37 ranks 2 out of 17 Upscale Midsize Cars. The 2010 Infiniti G37 is an extremely well-rounded car, balancing the comfort of a commuter and the athleticism of a performance car. It’s available as a refined sport sedan, an aggressive coupe or a gorgeous convertible. Reviewers note, however, that its extensive option list can make ordering a G37 an expensive proposition.
There are few more balanced cars than the "Infiniti G37". Consumer Guide sums up its appeal well -- “The Infiniti G37 performance, space, and available all-wheel drive make it an excellent alternative to rivals from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz, especially with the addition of the hardtop convertible. Reviewers complain that the coupe and convertible editions have small backseats and limited storage, even when compared to other coupes and convertibles.
Available in sedan, coupe and convertible variants, it is the G's major rival on the track, and is offered at a similar price.
Convertible shoppers might also consider the Lexus IS C. Some reviewers find that its top-down handling is tighter than the Infiniti's. Both Coupe and Sedan models are available in a dizzying array of trims, including G37, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT, and G37x AWD. Sport and Journey models come with a unique four-wheel active steering system that improves handling. The G37 Convertible comes in a single, rear-wheel drive trim.

Trim levels include the rear-wheel-drive G37 Base, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT, and all-wheel-drive G37x. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags.

Premium-Midsize Cars sport interior dimensions similar to Midsize Cars. Premium-Midsize Cars offer more luxury, performance, and prestige when compared to Midsize Cars.

New or significantly redesigned models include the BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo, Infiniti G37 convertible, Lexus ES 350, Lincoln MKZ, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The Cadillac CTS gains a 4-door wagon body style for 2010.

2011 Infiniti QX56 Review

The "2011 Infiniti QX56" . Most car reviewers say the newly redesigned 2011 Infiniti QX56 has what it takes to compete with the best in its class.

The Infiniti QX56 is all new for 2011, and reviewers say it's finally competitive. The changes to the Infiniti QX56 for 2011 start on the outside. Since it's an Infiniti, the QX56 comes loaded with high-tech standard features, as well as some innovative available safety features, like Intelligent Cruise Control.

What few complaints reviewers have center on the QX56's steering, with some reviewers complaining that it feels numb. If complaints about the QX56's steering are a deal breaker for you, check out the Land Rover Range Rover or the Land Rover Range Rover Sport. Both cost more than the QX56 (in the case of the Range Rover, about $22,000 more) but turn in performance that reviewers say is hard to top.

The full-size luxury SUV category was created by domestic manufacturers, but import-brand manufacturers subsequently joined the fray. As an Infiniti, however, it does feature its own unique styling elements and feature upgrades.

The Infiniti QX56 comes with a smooth V8 that offers ample power. SUV buyers crave roomy cabins and the QX56's fits the bill, with spacious second and third rows. Current Infiniti QX56
The Infiniti QX56 is a full-size SUV that seats seven or eight. Only one trim is offered, but that trim comes loaded with a wealth of standard features. A rear-seat DVD entertainment system is optional, as is a second-row bench seat (in lieu of the standard captain's chairs) that allows the Infiniti to seat a total of eight passengers. Rear-wheel- or four-wheel-drive models are offered. The Infiniti QX56's cabin strives to impart the requisite luxury SUV opulence but ultimately misses the mark. Cargo capacity is another shortcoming. By comparison, Cadillac's Escalade offers 109 cubic feet of cargo room, while the extended-length ESV version offers 137 cubes. More impressive is the QX56's standard rearview monitor. In road tests, our editors have praised the "Infiniti QX56 "for its refined powertrain, smooth ride and family-friendly passenger quarters. Used Infiniti QX56 Models

The QX56 debuted for the 2004 model year. Infiniti made only minor changes early on, including a 60/40-split for the third-row seat, a standard Bluetooth hands-free system and enhanced exterior mirrors for 2006.
